Action Medical Research will be celebrating another successful cycling season at its second Champions of CycleSport Gala Dinner.

The FABBAGIRLS are really looking forward to providing the stunning entertainment in the company of some of the leading names from the world of sport along with celebrities who just love their bikes! Chris Boardman, Dave Brailsford, Geraint Thomas and Ben Swift are just some of the names!

This year the Gala Dinner will be held at the striking Porchester Hall in Bayswater, London on Thursday 10 November.

FABBAGIRLS performing for The Big Cricket Ride

The FABBAGIRLS are really looking forward to performing at The Oval for their great friend Chris Adams – Captain of Surrey CC, for The Big Cricket Ride in aid of Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research.

Currently Chris and David Adams are cycling between each county cricket club. They started at Durham CCC on 7 October and will be finishing at Surrey CCC and passing through each of the 18 county’s doing a total of 868 miles in 15 days.

Chris is doing an amazing job and it’s a fantastic charity!

On Saturday October 22nd the FABBAGIRLS will join Chris at the Kia Oval to host the Big Cricket Ride Charity Dinner to celebrate the journey.

THE FABBAGIRLS and their ever-fantastic ABBA troupe are heading for a night of fabbatastic fun presented by The Rotary Club of Caerleon on 21st October, 2011.

This special black-tie event will be raising money for Cancer Research UK, which is doing wonders in battling prostate and breast cancer.

It’s going to be a special night featuring all the tunes you know and love from the world’s number one ABBA tribute band, as well as a delicious 3-course dinner. All in all it’s going to be a night not to be missed.

THE FABBAGIRLS will be performing at Wintershall 2011 Picnic Concert in Wintershall near Guildford, Surrey/Sussex.
The band has been asked back to perform after a six year break.

The lovely ladies will be performing alongside ERIC CLAPTON, RINGO STAR, GARY BROOKER, ANDY FAIRWEATHER-LOW and many other stars.
They will also be singing backing vocals for KENNY JONES band (THE WHO) and ROGER TAYLORS band (QUEEN).
This is a fantastic outdoor event not to be missed!

The Fabbagirls band flew over to perform at a high profile event in New Jersey. The auction made $3.5MILLION dollars for THE FANTASTIC TEDDYS FUND.

2nd Time Lucky!!!!

The Fabbagirls and boys had to leave Bahrain a few weeks ago, due to unrest in the country… but have just returned and ROCKED Bahrain To a sell out audience at THE GULF HOTEL CONVENTION CENTRE.
The crowd shouted for more and danced the night away.

On the 4th April, The FABBAGIRLS arrived at Grantley Adams airport, BARBADOS – to a thrive of press photographers and reporters and were whisked to their hotel in a stretched limo.
They appeared on TV, Good Morning Barbados, on radio stations and were featured heavily in the main newspaper The Daily Nation.

THE FABBAGIRLS went on to perform at the The Barbados Concorde Experience on Saturday 9th April.
This highly unusual venue, proved a stunning success and allowed the band to perform with the amazing backdrop of Concorde and its iconic nose!!
Not surprisingly, the venue was very quickly SOLD OUT, holding approx 1,500 people including many of the islands VIPs.
The gig was rocking and the audience went wild and were whipped up into a frenzy with hit after hit …..Dancing Queen, Waterloo, Mamma Mia, Chiquittita etc…

The band were raising funds for The Schoolhouse for special needs children in Barbados, organized by highly respected Rotary Club of Barbados.

A spokesman said “The show has created a real buzz ion the island and the girls have become an overnight sensation”

“We are having a superb time in Barbados and we would like to thank the Rotary Club for looking after us so well.
Also, its fantastic to really make a difference to the children of The Schoolhouse for special needs. We met those beautiful kids, in fact ,
they got up on the stage as we performed Dancing Queen to an emotional finale …..its was magical!!

NEW YORK – he girls are flying to New York in their own PINK FABBAGIRLS plane to perform in 29th April for an amazing Charity www.teddysfund.org

The Fabbagirls have just performed at an awesome event on a boat… A very big boat! The girls and their ABBA tribute band boarded the luxurious liner to perform all the Abba hits that got everyone rocking so much the party really did live up to it’s name!

Toby Baines, Nigel Doherty and Hector Gonzales were the ever-gracious hosts for “The Boat That Rocks” and judging by the amount of dancing from all the ABBA loving party guests, everyone had a great time.
