Susie was a convent girl. She went to Art College in Surrey and then worked as a film runner in film production companies before becoming a full time and very successful singer/songwriter.
Susie Webb began her singing/voice-over career working on TV and radio commercials including Barbie, Woolworths, Pepsi, M&M’s, the list is endless. She sang the theme to the recent ORLANDO BLOOM film ‘Ned Kelly’ along with other TV/Film themes. Susie has toured with BRIAN MAY and THE WHO. She is also a member of THE SAS BAND
( Spikes All-Stars ).
Susie has worked with many great rock bands/artistes including QUEEN, BILLY IDOL, BILL WYMAN, BOB GELDOF, STING, WILL YOUNG, THE BEACH BOYS and THE WHO ( Quadrophenia), where she began and ended the show alone. This took her from Hyde Park to Madison Square Gardens in New York.
She has worked with QUEEN on various projects and sang alongside PINK, BRITNEY and BEYONCE on the Pepsi TV Ad -( ‘We will rock you’).Susie has worked with LIONEL RITCHIE, BONO, STING and the legendary PAVAROTTI in his home town of Modena, Italy…alongside BONO, LIONEL RITCHIE and ANDREA BOCELLI and has performed numerous times at ‘PARTY IN THE PARK’. One of the most memorable events was singing backing vocals for QUEEN….when BRIAN MAY played his legendary guitar on the roof of Buckingham Palace!
Susie is also a songwriter and has recently written a beautiful ballad ‘Maybe’ which is on LEO SAYER’S recent Album ‘Voice In My Head’. She has been writing in Sweden with many great young writers and has just written ‘Waterfalls’ with the great GRAHAM GOULDMAN of 10cc/’I'm Not In Love’ fame, which has been added to her catalogue of songs.
Susie loves harmony work and has produced many young artistes using her vocal talents. With a gap in the market, she started up THE PARTY ANIMALS, which is a fabulous party band, including covering songs from the present day, back to the 60’s! Zoe Nicholas and Susie Webb have worked on many projects together because they really are a superb team!
